There's not much better than hitting each deadline with an almost perfect submission. Only two out of the five were returned to change a couple of things. Really, all five of them could have come back. Two weeks to fix those two drawings and turn in another one. Now that's the best news I've heard all week. The other news was finding out my père is expecting another child. Again. I swear ma famille needs to learn how to control themselves. Sérieusement,if I hear that it's my turn one more time I might have to cut all contact with them.

It's time for a drink and a week long procrastination from work.

What an exhaustive weekend. The best part of being in my line of work is the chance to travel to really cool places for really cool events. The worst part of my job is going to those places and working most of the time. I spend eight hours a day drawing for complete strangers and only a couple walking around looking at other peoples work and connecting in Artist Alley. I don't even know what else was at the Con. Though I did end up with some excellent swag from the panels I was able to sneak into. Now it's time to sleep for a week and hopefully make my deadline for next Tuesday.

I also offer congratulations to the two who were announced to be wed. Can we hope for a Fall or Winter wedding for either of the couples announced so far?
